Jane Ekstam's specialities include Ecocriticism, British literature, Canadian literature, British culture, and academic writing in English. She works closely with the teacher training programmes at Østfold University College, Norway, where she is employed. Jane has also worked with liberal arts students as well as within professional vocational training. She has taught at the doctoral level, supervises doctoral students of English Literature and has served on a number of doctoral grading committees. She has also examined doctoral theses in English Literature at a number of international universities. Jane is currently working on two projects: a chapter for an anthology, 'Of Ruin and Regeneration: Narratives of Hope and Despair'; and a trilogy on climate change. The first novel in her trilogy, 'Katja's World Game: The Game Begins', was published on Amazon in May 2022. Book two will be published by the end of 2022, and book three, in 2023.
